Fully

Have we ever really sat down and thought about how the fact that Jesus was fully man and fully God? How could that even be possible?
He came to earth, dwelt as a man; God, in human form. He suffered every temptation and pain that we go through today. Yet, He lived a perfect life because He knew His inheritance was in the Kingdom of Heaven. He was moved and guided by the fact that He was God. But he felt the emotion, temptation, and pain of men.

I think sometimes we read that Jesus was tempted as a man, but maybe we just dismiss it, thinking it was easy for Him to deny sin. But truth is, when scripture says He was tempted, that means He struggled with the thought of what to choose; what is right or wrong. The Father promised Jesus all the kingdoms in all the world in all their glory. But in order to obtain this inheritance, He had to come to earth as a man and be crucified, suffering for the gaining of the Kingdom of Heaven. We sometimes overlook that satan took Jesus into the wilderness, and in the midst of this, he revealed all the kingdoms of the world in all their glory right before Jesus. Everything the Father had promised Jesus was in front of Him. All Jesus would have to do is bow before satan and submit to him. That's it. He wouldn't have to be crucified or suffer any pain. But Jesus, in His heart, knew the promise of His Father, and was then struck with a decision of how He wanted to walk as a man on earth.

We can relate to Jesus on every level. He is a holy being, but He is also our Father and Friend who can understand everything we go through because He has gone through it all as well.

This Discipleship Training School has been so amazing and revelatory for me and for all the students. We have watched as Jesus has been making Himself so real to all of us in a greater way. We have watched people get healed from physical and emotional pain. We have watched as identities are restored. It has been such an incredible privilege to be here, running with these amazing people.

I wouldn't be able to witness this or be here without you guys and all your prayer and support!

As you know, we have gotten into our outreach teams. I have the amazing honor of leading 6 students (2 guys, 4 girls) to the incredible nation of Ireland! As we progress to this outreach, there are some needs we are running into.

If you guys are willing, please pray for our team and that we have strength, wisdom, and joy as we run together in this season. As of right now, Anna and I have not been able to find housing for our team out in Dublin, Ireland. It was important that the doors open up for this soon, so please be praying that Jesus releases the perfect place for our team!

By this thursday, I need a total of $500 for my plane ticket to Ireland. If you do feel led to help support me in this urgent financial need, I would be tremendously blessed!
